A refined sales presentation is key to all sales professionals success. As a VP of Sales I've been amazed at how difficult is is to deliver a sales presentation over the phone and sending large sales presentations via email can be just as tricky. I also found it very difficult to get everyone on my teaming using the right version of the master company sales presentation as well. I found my most senior reps would customize the master sales presentation and then do everything possible to keep pitching it.
We started using ClearSlide last month and have been honestly amazed at how easy it is now for our sales reps to take clients through sales presentations over the phone, just by asking them to go to their personal clearslide domain, such as clearslide.com/yourname. I was on a recent call with a major online media company and the Western Region VP of Sales said during our sales presentation "This is head and shoulders above webex". My reps agree. As a sales manager I like that I can know see a live activity stream of each and every sales pitch my reps have over the phone. Its a great momentum booster having everyone see in real time the completed sales presentations each member of the team has had. I can also track the number of minutes of presentation time the cumulative team has each day view on a line chart. Probably my favorite tracking piece is being able to view on a google map the location of each completed sales presentation worldwide.
Our team also uses clearslide to email out large powerpoint presentations that can be challenging to send out due to file size restrictions. Now we just send out simple links to our sales presentations and clients and click on the links and view the presentations directly in a web browser. Better yet, when the sales presentations are opened the reps get an email alert telling that their presentation is being viewed and they can they see how long the client spent viewing each slide. As the leader accountable to the overall sales goals, this makes me feel much better about driving overall sales productivity up

We used a shared folders system to access powerpoints but anyone that had to VPN in could never access the shared folders. Just painful.
